Learn more about what to expect when the 2023 Honda HR-V arrives in our new vehicle inventory here at Weir Canyon Honda.
2023 Honda HR-V Redesign
Honda has announced that the 2023 Honda HR-V will be based on the Honda global architecture, sharing its platform with that of the 11th generation Honda Civic. This means that the 2023 Honda HR-V will be larger than its predecessor, with a longer wheelbase and wider stance. Although it will be larger than the previous version, the 2023 Honda HR-V will still be the smallest Honda SUV, offering the nimble handling that makes it ideal for navigating busy Yorba Linda streets. The sporty styling will be enhanced by a bold new grille, wide-set LED headlights and taillights, a longer hood, a sleek roofline, a sculpted hatch, and a functional tailgate spoiler.
2023 Honda HR-V Interior
Not much is known about the 2023 Honda HR-V interior. That being said, we can take some hints from the Honda Civic. Improved visibility, an LCD instrument cluster display, and a 7-inch central touchscreen are all standard with the Civic, and there’s a good chance that they will be included in the 2023 Honda HR-V interior. One thing we’re fairly certain of is that the 60/40-split 2nd-row Magic Seat® will continue to be a standard feature, allowing you to reconfigure the 2023 Honda HR-V interior to maximize space for cargo. It is also possible that the Honda Sensing® Safety Suite and Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ will be offered as standard across the lineup.
2023 Honda HR-V Specs
The previous model was powered by a 141-hp In-Line 4-Cylinder i-VTEC® Engine. In the 2023 Honda HR-V specs that have been announced, the second generation model will feature a more responsive engine and a new independent rear suspension. This may mean that the 2023 model will come with a turbocharged engine like that of the Civic. If so, the sporty performance that Tustin-area drivers have come to love about the HR-V will be even more enjoyable.
